As we age, the foods and drinks we consumed over the years (e.g. coffee, red wine, tea, cola), or taking certain medications, as well as harmful habits such as smoking, certainly leave a mark on our teeth.

What teeth whitening system do we work with?

In our dentistry, we use Opalescence Boost, which contains 40% hydrogen peroxide, and the German Fläsh system, which contains 6% and 32% peroxide.

What is the difference between the two systems?

In the case of the German Fläsh system, the whitening material applied to the surface of the teeth is illuminated with a special lamp for 3 x 20 minutes, and then a soothing wrap is applied to the teeth as the last step of the treatment.

Opalescence Boost high-impact teeth whitening gel, on the other hand, does not require lighting, because the material is chemically activated. Perhaps one of the biggest advantages of this for the patients is that it is not necessary to lie in the dental chair during the process. The necessary treatment time here is also 20 minutes, however, during one session, the application of the material is usually repeated only twice (in rare cases 3x), so the treatment can be completed within 1 hour.

It is important to remember that in both cases, first we should perform professional scaling, because the best results can only be achieved in case of clean teeth surface.
